Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Sale Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Supporting classroom activities under the direction of the teacher Assisting with the implementation of lesson plans Providing one-on-one support to students as needed Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with classroom management and behaviour strategies Providing support during educational outings and extracurricular activities Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant experience working with children or young people Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well as part of a team Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Experience working with children or young people is required Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development principles Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with teaching staff Good organisational skills Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: This role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The Teaching Assistant may need to assist with activities both indoors and outdoors. The position requires full-time hours and may involve occasional additional duties or events outside of regular school hours.
