Trainee Day Programme Facilitator Location: Dover Salary: £21,840 per annum Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time Closing Date: 25 th September 2025 We are offering an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to join our traineeship programme. This role provides a structured pathway into [sector/field, e.g. health and social care/recovery services], combining practical workplace experience with study towards a nationally recognised qualification (subject to eligibility criteria). As a trainee, you will shadow a team member within your assigned business unit, receiving full guidance, mentoring, and regular reviews to support your development. You will also undertake compulsory therapy as part of the programme to aid both personal and professional growth. What You’ll Be Doing With the support of your team, you will develop core skills and gain hands-on experience in: Planning and managing a caseload effectively Reviewing ongoing care and treatment, liaising with healthcare and other agencies Co-facilitating groups and programmes to required standards Working in multi-disciplinary and integrated ways Collecting and recording data for audit, research, and reporting purposes Carrying out assessments (risk, initial, comprehensive) to inform treatment journeys Delivering interventions tailored to individual client needs, including 1:1 sessions and group facilitation Supporting service users with recovery planning and through-care needs What We’re Looking For We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate the following qualities: Proactivity –quick thinking and able to use initiative Resilience – problem-solving with a growth mindset Adaptability – thrives in fast-paced, changing environments Confidence – communicates clearly, with self-assurance Teamwork – collaborates effectively to deliver results Openness to Feedback – receptive to guidance and willing to learn Innovation – constantly seeking better ways of working Willingness and commitment to complete a nationally recognised qualification (subject to criteria) Enthusiasm to learn, develop, and build a career in [sector/field] About Us We are The Forward Trust, the social enterprise with charitable status that empowers people to break the often-interlinked cycles of crime and addiction to move forward with their lives.
