* Schedule: hours a week

MAIN DUTIES
* Plan, organize and execute a wide variety of activities for the children that are suitable to their individual stages of development.
* Ensure that child records are accurate, well-written and up to date such reports, observations, accident/incident forms etc.
* Build relationships and strong partnerships with the parents.
* Ensure the provision of a high-quality and inclusive environment to meet the needs of individual children.
* Ensure the maintenance of adequate standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the children attending the nursery. This includes changing nappies and toilet training.
* Assist with serving and washing up the children's lunches and snacks.
* Ensure safeguarding procedures are always followed.
* Understand that safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility and act accordingly.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
* A Level 3 qualification recognized by the DfE for counting in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework staff: child ratios.
COMPETENCIES AND PERSONAL QUALITIES
* A clear understanding of how children develop
* A clear understanding of the ways children enjoy learning.
* A clear understanding of safeguarding principles.
* A good knowledge of the EYFS.
* Reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible.
* A can-do attitude.
* Strong communicator with both children and adults.
REPORTING
* Reports to the nursery manager, or in their absence the deputy manager or most senior practitioner on site
