Qualifications
* A genuine desire to work with and care for people
* Willingness to learn and embrace the challenges of supporting vulnerable individuals, including those with dementia or other illnesses
* PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) certification for working with vulnerable adults and children (we can assist with applications for those without PVG)
* A valid driving license and access to a car are required for this role.
Hours:
All Care Workers follow a condensed repeating schedule:
Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Friday
Full-time Care Workers are on the rota for a full day, while part-time Care Workers are on the rota for half a day. You will be required to work every 2nd weekend.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide essential support to service users in their own homes.
* Promote independence in daily tasks while adhering to individual care plans.
* Assist service users with personal care in line with their specific needs.
* Maintain a clean and safe home environment, free from health and safety hazards.
* Maintain detailed record-keeping.
Work Location: People’s Homes in the Local Community
