Role: SEN Tutor Location: Christchurch and nearby areas Hours: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities available The Role You will work closely with pupils who require additional educational support, delivering engaging sessions that are adapted to suit their needs, interests, and learning styles. Your support will help students grow in confidence, develop independence, and re-engage positively with education. Tuition may take place within the home or community settings. Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored one-to-one tuition sessions Support learners with needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEM etc Adapt lesson delivery and resources to suit individual learners Build encouraging and professional relationships with students and families Create a positive and structured learning environment Help students improve confidence, communication, and engagement with learning About You Experience working with children or young people is desirable Backgrounds in tutoring, education, mentoring, care, coaching, or youth work are welcomed Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Calm, patient, and flexible approach to supporting learners Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures Ability to travel across Christchurch and surrounding locations Why Join TP Tutors?
