Position Details:

My client is seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager with public sector experience, possessing the skills, mindset, and potential to support their strategic ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understand and support Opportunity Assessment Reviews through activities like data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and report development.
* Research and apply best practices to develop innovations that deliver cost improvements and benefits.
* Follow engagement-specific benefits realization processes, ensuring benefits are identified, supported, and achievable.
* Develop strong stakeholder relationships and escalate issues when support is needed.
* Lead or support savings initiatives and contribute to knowledge sharing, product development, and innovation within the category group.
* Identify opportunities for up-selling and support the development of propositions and business cases.
* Utilize tools and methodologies for procurement processes, transformation, and change activities.
* Manage multiple workstreams within projects, including planning, reporting, and risk management.
* Support larger projects through PMO activities as needed.
* Administer contract management and SRM principles to ensure performance management.
Required Skills:
* IT Procurement Experience
* Public Sector Experience
* Proven track record in Cost Saving projects with measurable results (stats, money saved, % under budget)
* Strong organizational skills and effective time management across multiple engagements
* Understanding of the project management cycle and supporting methodologies
