Health and Safety Projects Manager - Major Infrastructure Programme

Working Pattern: 5 days per week on site

Overview
We're supporting a long-term, high-security major infrastructure programme in Derby. The project involves large-scale construction and site upgrades for a nationally significant client. The Health and Safety Project Manager will focus on operations, governance, and assurance, ensuring compliance across active construction sites and complex infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead governance and assurance processes across site operations
* Oversee statutory inspections and contractor compliance
* Conduct site audits, safety inspections, and investigations
* Engage with multiple contractors and stakeholders, representing the client's HSE interests
* Drive continuous improvement in health and safety performance
Candidate Profile
* SC-cleared or eligible for clearance (sponsorship possible)
* Proven track record in managing HSE within large-scale infrastructure or regulated industries (nuclear, defence, energy, rail, etc.)
* Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
* NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 5/6, or equivalent
