Hours: 44 per week (available on days)
Type: Permanent contract + 28 days holiday
Job description: Parkside care home offers comfortable nursing and residential care for anyone over 18, with short stay, palliative, and Parkinson's care options. The purpose‑built home has bright rooms, gardens, and a focus on person‑centred care. Residents enjoy balanced meals, activities, clubs, a hairdresser, and a mobile library.

Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑day responsibility for running a unit
* Support with clinical duties, including assisting the nurse to observe, issue medication, review care plans and accurate record keeping
* Drive and manage a team of Care Assistants, including responsible for all shift handovers
* Help with training and supervision of new staff members
* Build relationships with residents, families and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses
* Assist residents with a range of personal care duties
Qualifications and Skills
* NVQ3 in care complete or in progress (support available to complete required qualification)
* Motivated, positive, with great interpersonal skills and enjoyment of working in a close‑knit team
* Previous experience as a Care Assistant; passion for making a real difference to people’s lives
