My client based on the outskirts of Huntingdon are recruiting for a Sales Account Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

1. Hours – Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
2. Salary £27-32,000 DOE + bonus
3. Potential for Hybrid working
4. Own Car required due to location

This role is ideal for a driven, ambitious individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic, looking to use their knowledge and experience to progress their career within a thriving business. The Internal Sales Executive will manage a defined set of customer accounts, generate quotations and orders, oversee order delivery, and work closely with the external sales team to develop customer relationships and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

5. Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accounts.
6. Prepare and issue customer quotations; process orders and manage daily customer enquiries.
7. Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
8. Communicate with customers professionally via email and telephone.
9. Proactively develop sales, creating opportunities and appointments for external account managers.
10. Manage open orders and customer expectations to ensure timely deliveries.
11. Maintain accurate weekly reports and complete cost and sell worksheets.
12. Collaborate closely with the external sales team to coordinate account development activities.
13. Re-engage inactive accounts through marketing campaigns and targeted sales initiatives.
14. Keep the CRM system up to date with all relevant customer and sales activity.
15. Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management.

Essential Skills & Experience

23. Proven experience driving sales proactivity and delivering exceptional customer service.
24. Strong commercial awareness and sound understanding of sales processes.
25. Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and meet or exceed sales targets.
26. Proven sales and commercial knowledge within a B2B environment (preferred).
27. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and advanced Excel).
