About the General Manager role: As General Manager, you will oversee operational excellence across all areas of the location, including the Forest Retreat (our retail, food & beverage hub), site operations, and administration. You will ensure every guest enjoys a unique and memorable holiday experience, upholding our brand standards and delivering the Forest Feeling Your Responsibilities: Lead and inspire a large operational team to deliver outstanding service. Oversee all aspects of guest experience, operations, and administration at the location. Manage budgets and drive revenue growth while maintaining exceptional standards. Ensure a strong health & safety culture is embedded across the team. Motivate and develop your team through training, coaching, and performance management. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across the site. Proactively manage guest feedback to enhance the customer experience. Due to significant investment into the location project management and delivery experience is required Skills & Experience: Our ideal General Manager will be a dynamic leader who can drive the growth and success of their location. You should bring energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. We’re looking for someone with: A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle. Senior management experience, ideally overseeing large operational teams. Strong planning, organisation, and leadership skills. Proven budget management experience, including managing P&L. Previous experience in a similar outdoor working environment is desirable. A commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism. A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving business success.
