This role in Procurement / Buying offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full procurement lifecycle, supporting a wide range of goods, services and works contracts.
Working with Category Managers and the Head of Supply Chain, you will support tendering processes, engage with suppliers and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
You will play a key role in delivering value for money, efficiency and continuous improvement for this property/construction company.
What you'll do
Support procurement projects across multiple categories.
Manage tendering processes including RFIs, RFQs, ITTs and supplier evaluations.
Build and maintain supplier relationships, monitoring their performance.
Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve quality.
Ensure procurement activity is transparent, fair and auditable.Important Stuff
Location: Liverpool - working Monday to Friday in the office, parking is available on site (Fazakerley)

What you need
Experience of procurement processes and sourcing/buying, or even quantity surveying / estimating could be relevant here
Knowledge of tendering, supplier management and contracts.
Strong IT and analytical skills, plus excellent communication and relationship-building ability.
You must have experience in a relevant industry: construction, property, housing, facilities management, M&E, etc.
