Head Chef
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen operation at our boutique hotel bar. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for delivering consistently high-quality food while managing kitchen performance, costs, and team development.
In this role you will have a say in the menu choices.
The successful candidate will take full ownership of menu delivery, kitchen standards, and team management, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and motivate the kitchen team on a day-to-day basis
Plan, develop, and deliver menus in line with the brand and customer expectations
Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
Manage food costs, stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Train, develop, and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
Oversee kitchen rota planning, staffing levels, and performance management
Work closely with senior management to drive quality, consistency, and profitability
