Deputy Home Manager – CareTech
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom
Position: Full Time, Permanent, Contract: Full Time Hours: 40 per week Salary: Up to £36,800+ (depends on experience and qualifications)

What You’ll Do
* Support young people with daily routines – getting them ready for school, assisting with meal times and activity planning.
* Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light household tasks.
* Lead shifts and deputise the Home Manager.
* Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
* Plan and participate in fun activities such as trips to the park, movie nights and creative projects.
* Maintain essential records to ensure the best possible care.
Where You’ll Do It
The home is a two‑bedded detached property with a large games room, lounges, front parking and a back garden. You will support one female young person aged 16 and work as part of a team of two staff sleeping at the home overnight.
Who You Are
* Warm, patient, a great listener and encourager focused on outcomes for others.
* Holder of a UK full driving licence.
* Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
* Two years’ experience in a residential setting.
