Area: Hawarden
Hours: 8am-4.30pm / 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to 45K based additional £6 per day shift allowance on lates and daily bonus.
Our Client has a great opportunity to join their established manufacturing plant.
Key Duties:
* Carry out routine and unplanned maintenance work and respond to equipment faults;
* Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and machinery and arrange procurement of fixtures, fittings and components as required;
* Conduct quality inspections on jobs;
* Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment;
* Monitor and control maintenance costs;
* Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs;
* Work closely with Senior Management to improve health and safety policies and procedures;
* Work as part of a team to ensure the continuous flow of production and operations;
Criteria:
* Time-served Mechanical Engineer or Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in a mechanical maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong practical experience with mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics
* Basic working knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, CNC, or PC-controlled equipment desirable (mechanical focus remains key)
* Able to work independently, manage workload effectively, and prioritise maintenance activities
* Proactive, reliable team player with flexibility to support business needs when required.
