At Octavius Regional Civil Engineering (ORCE), we believe in helping you be your best in the work you do. Our Year in Industry Placement Scheme is designed for aspiring engineers to gain hands-on experience, work on real-life projects, and collaborate with experts. Over 10-12 months, you'll immerse yourself in the dynamic world of engineering, gaining invaluable skills that will shape your future.
The Scheme
This isn't just a placement-it's a gateway to a fulfilling career. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to our road and rail projects that connect communities and improve transport networks. Whether on-site or in the office, you'll develop your communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, all while contributing to projects that make a lasting impact.
Upon completing the placement, there's potential for sponsorship and the opportunity to join our Graduate Scheme, paving the way for your future with us.
What You'll Do
* Assist with project planning, cost control, record-keeping, and method statements.
* Bring fresh ideas and energy to our innovative projects.
* Collaborate with diverse teams, including engineers, commercial teams, and stakeholders, while learning from experienced professionals.
* Engage with local communities, contributing to the positive impact we have across the UK.

What We're Looking For

* A full UK driving licence and a desire to work towards professional qualifications.
