Your new role
This is a key hire within the finance operations team, focused on delivering accurate and timely IBA processes. You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, supporting end-to-end client money and credit control activities.Key responsibilities will include:
1. Bank and client money reconciliations
2. Premium reconciliations across multiple schemes
3. Processing collection files and premium returns
4. Preparing and issuing invoices and statements
5. Processing brokermissions and timely transfers to office accounts
6. Managing multi-currency accounts and settlements
7. Supporting the collection of premiums and claims
8. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records
9. Supporting month-end close and internal reporting
10. Investigating and resolving IBA-related queries
11. Managing aged debt and supporting credit control processes
12. Building relationships with brokers and underwriters
What you'll need to succeed
13. Prior experience in an IBA / insurance accounting role
14. Strong understanding of London Market processes
15. Working knowledge of FCA CASS 5 client money rules
16. Experience handling high-volume reconciliations
17. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data handling)
18. Familiarity with systems such as Xchanging (desirable)
