Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice.
The position is 4 to 5 days per week, Monday - Friday. Working hours are 8.30am-5.30pm with an unpaid lunch hour 1pm-2pm.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and assist with check-in procedures.
* Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
* Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
* Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
* Process payments with accuracy.
* Assist with administrative tasks.
* Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
Experience
* Previous office experience is essential, preferably within a healthcare or dental setting.
* Administrative experience is highly desirable, demonstrating proficiency in managing office tasks efficiently.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are vital for this role.
