Description
* Manage a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
* Provide advisory services to clients regarding tax planning opportunities and strategies.
* Assist in preparing and reviewing tax returns, including self-assessment and corporation tax returns.
* Support junior team members with their development and provide guidance on technical tax matters.
* Monitor and keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation to ensure compliance for all clients.
* Communicate effectively with clients, both in writing and face-to-face, to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
* Collaborate with other departments to offer a seamless service and identify cross-selling opportunities.
* Assist with HMRC enquiries and investigations as required.
Profile
A successful Mixed Tax Senior should have:
* A relevant qualification in accounting, tax, or a related field, such as ATT or CTA.
* Proven experience in both personal and corporate tax for a UK-based accountancy practice.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when dealing with tax computations and queries.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting to tax legislation changes.
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
