Specialist Communications Consultancy
We are partnering with a highly regarded specialist presentation design consultancy to recruit an ambitious and commercially driven Account Director.

The Role
As Account Director, you will lead and grow a portfolio of high-profile global client accounts, driving long-term partnerships and commercial success.
You will take full ownership of key accounts, shape growth strategies and ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional, profitable work. This role requires someone confident operating at senior stakeholder level, motivated by measurable business impact and passionate about building lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Client Leadership
* Own, lead and grow profitable client relationships across global brands.
* Partner with senior leadership to drive long-term account growth strategies.
* Develop a deep understanding of client markets and act as a trusted strategic advisor.
* Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, shaping briefs to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Direct and project manage work from conception to completion, identifying opportunities to expand services.
* Lead client workshops, meetings and presentations.
* Act as the client’s voice internally to ensure strategic alignment and delivery excellence.
Content & Creative Oversight
* Elevate client communications to maximise engagement and achieve objectives.
* Develop and write presentation content from workshops and client materials.
* Maintain exceptional editorial standards and attention to detail.
* Collaborate closely with creative teams to deliver best-in-class presentation solutions.
Commercial & Financial Management
* Own monthly and annual revenue targets.
* Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting.
* Oversee invoicing and financial administration across accounts.
* Drive profitability while continually improving internal processes.
Leadership & Team Development
* Lead, inspire and develop team members.
* Support professional growth aligned with business objectives.
* Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.
* Contribute to recruitment and onboarding.
* Maintain a calm, solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
Business Development
* Confidently present the consultancy’s services to existing and prospective clients.
* Identify and nurture new business opportunities.
* Support and lead pitches through to successful conversion.

The Ideal Candidate will have:
Experience:
Extensive experience within a marketing communications or creative agency environment at Senior Account Manager or Account Director level.
Education:
Relevant degree advantageous but not essential.
Attitude:
Proactive, commercially minded and calm under pressure. Leads by example and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365.
Knowledge:
Solid understanding of design processes and terminology.
Traits:
A natural relationship builder who balances strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and takes ownership of both team performance and financial outcomes.
