A day in the life of…
As a Chef de Partie, your responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your specialty. You will manage and train demi-chef de parties or commis, assist the sous and head chefs in developing new dishes and menus, and ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety. Monitoring portion sizes and waste to maintain profit margins is also essential. Your role is vital to the success of the kitchen and hotel’s food and beverage operations.

* Excellent cooking skills with a deep understanding of ingredients, flavors, and techniques
* The ability to work well under pressure and delegate tasks appropriately
* A commitment to maintaining a hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations
