Architectural Technologist — Henry Mein PartnershipLocation: Midlands | Experience: 3+ years | Salary: £32,000–£42,000 (dependent on experience)We’re a small, successful and long-established practice seeking an Architectural Technologist ready to take on real responsibility across a varied workload.The roleYou will work with experienced architects and technologists to deliver technical design and coordination across public, leisure, commercial and industrial projects, speculative residential schemes and one-off homes.Day to day, you will:Produce detailed construction information and coordinate consultant inputs from developed design to completion.Support technical QA and resolve design queries on site.Work within our Revit standards and BIM workflows and suggest improvements.Contribute to office processes and procedures, standard detailing and technical compliance.Liaise with contractors and building control on technical matters.Who we’re looking forYou’ll typically have around 3+ years’ relevant experience and be ready to step up in responsibility and technical confidence.You’ll have:Solid Revit and detailing skills.Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction methods and CDM responsibilities.A methodical, solutions-orientated approach to technical challenges.Clear communication and the confidence to ask questions and make decisions.Ambition to take ownership of your work and grow into leading delivery.What we offerClear progression — genuine responsibility that increases as you establish yourself.Monthly one-to-ones with the Managing Director to review progress, set objectives and plan development.A defined pathway to a four-day working week once you’re established in the role.Day-to-day mentorship, regular CPD and hands-on design reviews; support for CIAT membership and chartership.Flexibility and autonomy within a small, responsive studio culture.A close, collaborative team — occasional informal social events to share experiences out of work.Salary offered within the stated range according to experience and contribution.For ambitious technologists who prove themselves, there is a credible route to senior roles and future buy-in as the practice grows.How to applySend a short cover note and your CV to info@henrymein.co.uk explaining why this role is the next step for you and what you want to develop next.We’ll contact applicants who best match the brief.No Agencies
