Senior Audit Manager – Birmingham
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior Audit Manager to join a growing audit team based in Birmingham. Whether you're an experienced Audit Manager ready to take the next step or a current Senior Manager seeking a new challenge, this role offers the chance to help shape and grow the firm’s presence in the West Midlands.
Working with a diverse portfolio of corporate clients—from SMEs and owner-managed businesses to larger groups—you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit services and providing trusted advice to support clients in achieving their business goals.
You will also play a key role in developing the Birmingham Audit team, contributing to business development, and helping drive the success of the firm’s newest office.
Responsibilities
* Leading, planning, and delivering a wide range of corporate external audit engagements.
* Managing and developing strong relationships with clients across various industries.
* Coaching and supporting junior team members to become accomplished business advisors.
* Monitoring budgets, agreeing fees, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to high standards.
* Playing an active role in business development activities within the Birmingham market.
* Contributing ideas to help shape and grow the Audit service line in the West Midlands.
Qualifications
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
* Significant experience managing a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors.
* Strong people management skills with a track record of coaching and developing others.
* Full driving license and access to transport.
