Roles & Responsibilities :
Providing support with daily activities and personal care.
Duties
* Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
* Conduct patient intake procedures, ensuring accurate documentation of medical history and current health status.
* Support dermatology, internal medicine, and urgent care services by preparing patients for examinations and treatments.
* Utilize EHR systems for maintaining patient records and managing data efficiently.
* Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up care.
* Ensure compliance with medical terminology and coding standards, including ICD coding for accurate billing processes.
* Assist in emergency situations by applying basic life support techniques as needed.
* Engage with patients to provide exceptional service and address their needs effectively.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization within clinical areas to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
Skills
* Proficient knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
* Experience in hospital settings, including familiarity with Level I and Level II trauma centers.
* Ability to perform intake procedures and assess patients' vital signs accurately.
* Understanding of medication administration protocols and emergency medicine practices.
* Experience with outpatient services, geriatrics, PICU, OR environments, or medical-surgical units is preferred.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact empathetically with patients from diverse backgrounds.
