A subject matter expert driving best ‑in ‑class PMO and project controls, strengthening Mace’s profile and client confidence. The Cost Engineer delivers robust cost management across PMO or delivery teams, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring compliant operations.
Please Note: This role will be based in Warrington 2-3 days per week and requires UK nationality and successful security clearance.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Delivering accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
* Supporting full budget, scope, change control and earned value analysis.
* Coordinating with scheduling, commercial, construction and finance teams.
* Assuring monthly cost data and variance analysis.
* Driving forecast and budget accuracy.
* Producing clear cost reports.
* Applying strong cost and contract management.
* Building effective client and partner relationships.
You’ll need to have:
* Achieved professional qualification through recognised body (e.g. APM, AACE, ACostE etc).
* Proven relevant experience in project management or project controls environment in a similar cost role in a construction or consultancy background.
* Experience of nuclear or high secure sectors desirable.
