Job description
To support in the conceptualisation, planning, automation, execution, optimisation and measurement of cross channel marketing campaigns. Working across three brands, within the business, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for campaign creation and application across five key channels:
• Business line websites
• Email Marketing
• Social Media (YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn)
• Events
• Print Tasks
Responsibilities
Research:
• Assist with market research – quantitative and qualitative.
• Develop integrated communication plans, on and offline.
Accuracy:
• Use best practice principles to build email marketing campaigns that drive engagement and conversion across defined user segments (includes utilising email marketing software for build, segmentation, distribution, and analysis).
• Track and report the success of agreed marketing activity.
• Assist in the achievement of brand positioning, ensuring brand messaging and visual identity is consistent with branding and values.
Creative, production and distribution:
• Assist with website development, liaising with third party agencies on strategy, user experience and conversion rate optimisation to drive high quality enquiries.
• Project manage inbound marketing programmes across key digital channels and deliver regular e-comms, via agreed campaign channels, to all core audience segment.
• Organise and support events and liaise with third party suppliers, including occasional attendance.
Key qualities:
The Marketing Manager will need to have excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail, analytical and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
They will have an outgoing and professional manner, ability to build strong stakeholder engagement as well as have the ability to meet deadlines.
They will have a propensity for thinking ahead, and the ability to rise to the challenge of new or unexpected circumstances.
The ability to think creatively and come up with innovative content solutions is essential.
Desired education and experience:
• Ideally Minimum 3 years of marketing experience in the following disciplines:
o Content generation
o Website management
o Email Marketing (creation and delivery)
o Social Media
• Degree Educated or equivalent.
• Intermediate IT skills, e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, PremierPro (any video editing software) and Outlook.
