Hays Education Wirral is a market-leading recruitment agency supporting primary schools across the Wirral Local Authority. We are currently working with a Birkenhead primary School to recruit an KS2 teacher to take on part time class teaching responsibilities with their Year 5 class.
Your new role
This role involves class teaching responsibilities including long-term planning and marking, starting in January until the end of the academic year.
1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective KS2 lessons to students.
2. Assess and mark students' work, providing constructive feedback.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
What you'll need to succeed
To apply for this role, you must be passionate and driven, with a strong desire to be a successful teacher. You must meet the below core criteria:
5. A minimum of 2 months' teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements).
6. You must have the right to work in the UK.
7. You must have a PGCE, QTS or QTLS
If you don't have a PGCE, QTS, QTLS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor, provided you have worked with children for 1 month in the past 4 years. We wee applicants who are currently working for other agencies.
