ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Tutors to join our team on a 12-week fixed-term basis for our summer pre-sessional programmes. These roles are based within the University's British Council accredited Language Centre, which plays a key role in supporting international students with their academic English and study skills before they begin their degree programmes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team that values high-quality teaching, student success, and continuous professional development. You will contribute to the delivery of intensive EAP teaching, helping prepare international students for academic study at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We welcome applications from individuals who:
* Have a recognised EAP or ELT qualification (e.g., DELTA, CELTA, or equivalent)
* Have experience teaching English for Academic Purposes, ideally in a higher education or pre-sessional context
* Are passionate about supporting international students through their academic journey
* Are flexible, collaborative, and committed to inclusive teaching practices
