Role Overview
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Corporate Tax Compliance Manager to join their London office. This role is primarily compliance-focused, with the opportunity to contribute to advisory work depending on your interests. You will manage a portfolio of clients, lead complex projects, and support the development of junior staff, while working closely with Partners and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver corporate tax compliance services to a wide range of clients
2. Manage client portfolios and ensure timely delivery of services in line with statutory deadlines
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
4. Identify and escalate risks in accordance with the firm’s quality control procedures
5. Support Partners and lead a team of tax professionals
6. Oversee compliance for large corporate groups
7. Draft detailed client reports and lead complex tax projects
8. Review technical and financial assessments prepared by team members
9. Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development
Candidate Profile
Essential:
10. CTA qualified
11. Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
12. Proven management experience
13. Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
14. International tax knowledge
15. Experience mentoring junior staff
16. Commercial awareness and interest in advisory work
