Store Staff is responsible for providing outstanding service to guests in the camp store. This is a SEASONAL full‑time or part‑time position and reports to the Store Supervisor.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Store Clerk
o Assist guests in finding merchandise
o Ensure store is clean, neat, organized, and well‑stocked
o Accurately process cash, credit, and gift card transactions using the point‑of‑sale system
o Assist with merchandise inventory
o Ensure cash handling procedures are followed
o Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
o Assist with:
+ Receive and check goods for damaged or missing items
+ Catalog items on the store's system
+ Create price labels for items
+ Stock shelves or remove items that are expired
+ Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
+ Assist with the assembly of attractive displays for goods
+ Assist customers with questions
+ Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
* Store Stockroom Attendant
o Receive and check goods for damaged or missing items
o Catalog items on the store's system
o Create price labels for items
o Stock shelves or remove items that are expired
o Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
o Assist with the assembly of attractive displays for goods
o Assist customers with questions
o Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
Education / Training / Experience
* Customer service experience preferred
Qualifications / Requirements
* Basic computer skills
* Upbeat, engaging personality, strong work ethic, and professional appearance
* Cash‑handling and credit card transaction experience
* Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
* Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
* Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment
* Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
* Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes good relations with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management
Essential Physical Demands
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position
* Regularly move throughout the store
* Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
* Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
