This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed in‑house Infrastructure Enabling Team, supporting the Town and Country Planning Lead across a diverse portfolio of major capital and infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the effective use of permitted development rights and in securing planning consents in line with Town and Country Planning legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver small to medium planning consents for capital programmes, managing all related activities.
* Work collaboratively within project teams to optimise permitted development.
* Advise and support on all consents required for construction projects.
* Contribute to policy, regulatory and strategic advice affecting consents delivery.
Skills and Experience
* Strong understanding of current and emerging planning legislation.
* Experience within a corporate or regulated environment.
* Knowledge of environmental initiatives such as biodiversity net gain.
