Credit Controller
Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Holiday: 25 days, increasing to 30 days with service
Salary: £30’000 per annum

What are we looking for?
Our growing business is looking for someone who’s confident, a strong communicator, and comfortable picking up the phone. You don’t need prior experience in Credit Control - what matters most is your attitude. If you’re proactive, eager to learn, and ready to take ownership, we’ll give you the training and support to succeed in the role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contacting numerous customers daily by telephone to chase outstanding balances
* Communicating with customers in a professional manner and confident manner
* Liaising with other departments & key stakeholders to raise & resolve queries raised by customers
* Reviewing debt reports and targeting customers that have passed expected payment dates
* Collecting outstanding customer account balances.
* Negotiating and setting up payment plans for customer aged debt balances
* Supporting the direct debit collection process.
* Monitoring account challenges and escalating where resolution needs additional support
* Monitoring & processing team emails
* Keep debt within acceptable levels per team KPI’s
Key Requirements:
* IT literate with Microsoft Excel knowledge
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* You will be a positive, pro-active and personable individual who will fit in well with this dynamic and friendly small team.
* You will be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines without direct, daily supervision.
* You are not afraid to pick up the phone and make a phone call.
* Good sense of humour!
