About the Role
I am interested in speaking to motivated and technically capable Senior and Associate Fire Engineers to join a fast-growing, specialist fire safety consultancy delivering design, construction, and operational fire safety solutions. In this role, you will work on a variety of fire engineering projects, supported by experienced senior engineers, and help to ensure buildings and infrastructure are safe, compliant, and future-proofed. Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct fire engineering assessments during design and construction phases, including:
* Smoke modelling and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
* Evacuation analysis and human behaviour modelling
* Fire resistance and structural fire engineering calculations
* External fire spread assessments
2. Collaborate with architects, structural and mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to provide fire safety advice throughout building design.
3. Produce clear, technically robust reports, fire strategy documents, and design justification.
4. Support fire safety during construction: attend site, review systems, perform inspections, and advise on fire protection measures.
5. Assist in project handover, ensuring fire safety measures are correctly implemented and documented.
