 
        What's involved with this role: Job Title: Governance Business Support Officer Ref: Cheshire W 5279019 Pay rate: £16.35 per hour PAYE Role length: Anticipated 2 months The role: This role is to provide cover as a Business Support Officer responsible for supporting the council's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Unit4, with a particular focus on advice, training delivery and maintaining the in-system hierarchy. You will have a background in Unit4, but other similar roles and experience would be desirable, and have experience of hierarchy maintenance, supporting end users and/or designing and delivering training and support to all levels of staff. You will have an understanding of finance and payroll processes and proven experience of analysing and documenting complex business processes. This role would suit someone with IT experience in ERP applications and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Administrative role to maintain the Hierarchy within Unit4 Provide advice and support for Unit4 transactional processes e.g. pay data, requisitioning Supporting the system maintenance updates and investigating/troubleshooting errors that may arise Deliver training courses to system users and supporting them in the use of Unit4 Undertaking a support desk role to support users with Unit4 related queries What the client is looking for: Ideally a background in ERP Unit4, though other similar roles and experience would be desirable IT experience in ERP applications and knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience of hierarchy maintenance Experience of supporting end users and/or designing and delivering training and support to all levels Ability to interpret and present data in a meaningful way Understanding of finance and payroll processes is vital to support users in the use of the council’s Enterprise Resource Planning application, Unit4 Ability to support team members and users in creating a positive and effective working environment and maintaining customer relationships Proven experience of analysing and documenting complex business processes to ensure procedures are effective and completed successfully How to Apply: Quote the Job Title and Reference Number in your application.
