Classroom Support Assistant – SEND School | Be the Difference
Some days you’ll be a cheerleader, some days you’ll be a problem-solver, and some days you’ll just be the steady hand a pupil needs to get through.
Every day, you’ll matter.
We’re working with incredible SEND schools across Bromley who are looking for supportive, energetic Classroom Support Assistants to make a real impact on pupils with additional needs.
This isn’t just a classroom role—it’s about showing up, staying patient, and being the person who helps students believe in themselves.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, social, emotional, and sensory needs—either 1:1 or in small groups.
* Helping pupils stay engaged, stay positive, and keep going (even on the tricky days).
* Using creative strategies, clear communication, and plenty of encouragement to help students succeed.
* Working closely with fantastic teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to create safe, supportive learning spaces.
You’ll Love This Role If You:
* Enjoy working closely with children and young people who need that little bit of extra support.
* Are naturally patient, positive, and unphased by the ups and downs.
* Can bring calm, care, and the occasional high-five when it’s needed most.
* Have experience working in schools, youth clubs, mentoring, care, or any support role.
What’s On Offer:
* Long-term, full-time roles in schools that really value their support staff.
* Weekly PAYE pay—no umbrella companies, no hassle.
* Free Thrive training and access to CPD to keep growing your skills.
* A friendly, local consultant who’s here to back you all the way.
Why You’ll Love It:
You’ll see the small wins that most people miss—the first time a pupil answers a question, the moment they ask for help instead of walking away, the day they look forward to coming in.
