Job Overview
As part of the Nottingham Mental Health Leadership Team, the Step 2 Supervisors will play a crucial role in supporting Clinical Leads to ensure high standards of clinical delivery and effectiveness. These supervisors will be responsible for providing and supervising Step 2 interventions recommended by NICE for clients with mild to moderate common Mental Health Disorders, strictly adhering to the NHS TT Manual.
The position involves comprehensive case management supervision for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs), utilising an outcomes-focused approach. Additionally, the role will encourage reflective practice and facilitate clinical skills groups as needed. The postholder must adhere to the clinical competency framework for PWPs and will be expected to maintain the clinical quality of their supervisees' work through regular clinical audits.
The role extends beyond direct supervision, requiring collaboration with Step 2 Clinical Leads and other Clinical and Operational leadership to drive service developments and achieve organizational objectives. The postholder may also be called upon to deputise for the Step 2 Clinical Lead at relevant meetings when appropriate.
This is a six month fixed term contract due to maternity leave.
