Overview
This role does not provide visa sponsorship. We're looking for a motivated and ambitious Finance Analyst/Accountant to join our high-performing team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role gives you the chance to work closely with senior leaders across finance, commercial, and operational teams offering real visibility and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the business.
This is a hands on role where you'll be trusted with ownership from day one. You'll be preparing financial statements, budgets and forecasts, supporting joint ventures, and working on projects that help shape the future of the business. What you'll be doing
* Preparing monthly P&Ls, balance sheets and cash flows, and working with project teams to understand key variances.
* Supporting budgets, quarterly submissions, and rolling forecasts.
* Monitoring cash flows and proactively communicating changes.
* Partnering with joint venture finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and strong financial controls.
* Carrying out financial reviews and credit checks, supporting procurement and commercial teams.
* Getting involved in ad-hoc projects (cash optimisation, efficiency reviews, IT system improvements, new standards implementation).
* Ensuring accurate financial records in line with statutory and group policies.
What we're looking for
* A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or finalist.
* Someone with strong analytical and financial skills, who's comfortable challenging assumptions and influencing decisions.
* Excellent Excel and system skills; confident working with large datasets.
* Commercially aware, detail-focused, and proactive.
* Exposure to the construction industry or familiarity with its terminology is highly desirable.
