This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, engaging, and hard-working Humanities Graduate to work as a dedicated Teaching Assistant within a leading Secondary School in North London.
Your role will focus on Humanities and involve working as a Teaching Assistant with pupils across KS3 and KS4.
We are looking for a Humanities Teaching Assistant who is:
* A bright Humanities Graduate - outgoing and confident team player!
* Previous tutor experience is an advantage!
* Experience working directly with young people in an education or training environment, supporting students' learning.
* Experience establishing and maintaining positive relationships with a range of stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to manage and be responsible for your own workload.
* Good literacy and numeracy skills.
OPPORTUNITY:
* Delivering targeted interventions - 1:1 & small groups
* Secondary School based in Barnet
* Opportunity to work across Secondary age groups – KS3-5 (Ages 11-18)
* Start date: September 2024
* Long-term role until July 2025
* Full Time – Term Time Only
* Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
* Excellent ongoing school-based training throughout the year
* Opportunity to work alongside fantastic teachers, support staff, and SEN specialists
