Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester required in North Bristol
1. Starting basic salary is up to £32,000 per annum.
2. Up to £5,000+ annual site performance related bonus potential.
3. Flexible 5 day working rota; Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm & Saturdays 8:00am to 5:00pm
Our client, a well established fast fit business, founded in 2008 and operating with over 25 autocentres nationwide, are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester for their Bristol site!
Reporting to the Site Manager along with working in a large team, as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester your main duties will include carrying out vehicle service and repairs as instructed to the standards laid down by our client. You will also need to perform vehicle MOTs to ensure the customers vehicle is roadworthy, safe to drive in all aspects and exhaust emissions meet the government standards. You will need to ensure that quality and health & safety procedures relating to the function laid down by our client are adhered to at all times.
You will ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance of Bristol and will need to be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as well as ideally holding at least 1 to 2 years practical experience post-qualification. You will also need to hold a UK driving license, be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for you team. If you do not currently hold to an active MOT license, our client is willing to put the successful candidate through it after 4-6 weeks with the business.
