Location: Based in Stafford Park, Telford (with travel to other boroughs for pick-ups; may also visit sites in South Yorkshire for training and development)
Hours: Full time (9am-5pm, Mon-Fri)
Salary: £27,517 per annum
Contract Term: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

The Really NEET Project is looking for an experienced professional to work closely with our Telford team to support our young people’s needs.
The role is structured into the following categories:

5. Advocacy
6. Community Links
The Pastoral Caseworker will uphold and promote the seven EPIC-ARC Organizational Values and our Three Seed purpose:

Who will I be helping?
All learners have an Educational, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) and some level of additional needs, such as SEMH, Autism, ADHD, among others. We work across projects in The Midlands, Barnsley, Rotherham, and London.
Job Responsibilities:
Family Liaison
1. Build positive, professional relationships with students and families/carers
2. Conduct termly visits, provide updates, listen to concerns, and assist with documentation
3. Prepare and review termly reports with parents/carers
Administration
1. Maintain accurate record keeping
2. Assist with student transition and information sharing
3. Update SEND trackers
Engagement Officer
1. Apply strategies to support disengaged learners and families
2. Create engagement plans
3. Utilize personalized budgets for reengagement services
4. Cover offsite tutors if needed
MDT Meeting Assistance
1. Foster relationships with external agencies such as Social Services and Mental Health teams
Advocacy
1. Support students and families in self-advocacy
Community Links
1. Develop partnerships for work placements and further education opportunities
The post may include other duties within the organization as reasonably expected, with no change to salary. Annual review of priorities will occur through performance management and appraisals.
