Salary: £80,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements: DV clearance Proven experience in engineering management within the defence sector Strong understanding of technical debt management Experience with MVC pipeline integration Ability to manage engineers effectively Excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying technical impacts to stakeholders Knowledge of incident management processes, particularly for P1 and P2 incidents Experience in participating in Change Approval Boards Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate multiple resources Responsibilities: Manage the engineering resources and processes for Run/Maintain and Change Reduce technical debt and integrate changes from the MVC pipeline Coordinate engineering efforts for find/fix/resolve on P1-P4 issues Manage engineers conducting patching and updates, communicating impacts to the service delivery team Identify existing technical debt and plan for remediation with the Technical Authority Work with the Product Owner to size and deploy changes from the MVC pipeline Develop engineering plans to prepare for and execute changes Act as Incident Manager for P1 and P2 incidents, initiating response processes Track and ensure completion of all post-incident actions Represent the solutions status in Change Approval Boards and provide assessments on potential issues Technologies: Support MVC Product Owner More: We are a leading company in the defence sector, committed to providing innovative engineering solutions.
