Requirements
The duties of this position involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member regarding Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update before a formal employment offer is made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are continually updated; any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a permanent part-time position based at Kilmarnock Academy within the William McIlvanney Campus, Kilmarnock. The work hours are 21 hours per week, directed by the line manager. The full-time salary range is £40,305 - £50,589 per annum; the part-time salary is proportionally adjusted to £24,182 - £30,353 per annum.
