The Package

Salary: GBP34,398 : GBP48,913 (M1 : UPS1 Fringe)

Bonus: GBP5,000 Welcome Bonus for Qualified Teachers

Hours: 40 hours per week (Early 4:00 PM finish on Fridays)

Location: Chaldon, Surrey (Near Rockshaw Road)

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Differentiation: Deliver high:quality Science teaching tailored to pupils with autism and multiple learning difficulties.

Strategic Planning: Maintain and implement short, medium, and long:term plans that prioritise individual EHCP outcomes.

Expert Advocacy: Lead and contribute to the review of EHCPs, PEPs, and LAC reviews with a focus on optimised learning targets.
*
Behavioural Excellence: Utilise non:confrontational strategies and professional conduct to manage challenging behaviours within a supportive framework.
Requirements
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role.
*
SEND Expertise: Significant experience delivering a differentiated curriculum to pupils with autism and complex needs.
*
Clinical Insight: Knowledge of associated co:morbid conditions and how they affect the learning process.
*
Resilience and Reflection: The ability to remain calm and reflective in a challenging, fast:paced environment.
*
Mobility: A driving license is highly desirable due to our rural location and potential travel to our satellite site in Caterham.
