Job Overview:
The list of responsibilities below is not exhaustive but includes:
oSource on and off market deals in UK market
oEvaluation and business planning of such opportunities
oExecute these transactions from cradle to grave
oManaging external advisors – agents, lawyers, building surveyors, valuers, etc
oPresent deals to the Investment Committee
oInteraction with the asset management team on strategy and execution of business plans as required
oPreparation and presentation of investment reports for dissemination internally
oContribute to the formation/implementation of investment strategies
oTake responsibility for exit strategy and execution of sales where required
oEnhance company reputation in the market
oAssist in portfolio refinancing underwrites
oAssist the New Business team with the analysis and underwrite of property assets as part of corporate acquisitions
Qualifications and Skills
oIn-depth knowledge and understanding of the UK real estate market
oStrong network of agents and advisors within the market
oTrack record of executing real estate transactions
oStrong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel
oA proactive and analytical mindset
oAbility to understand and interpret data/cashflows
oExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
oStrong communication (written & presentation) skills for effective collaboration with consultants and stakeholders
oRecently RICS qualified (no more than 3 years post qualification)
oRICS accredited undergraduate or postgraduate degree qualification
oClient side / agency experience considered on equal merit
oSelf-starter mentality with the ability to work successfully as part of a wider team
