GSL Education are delighted to recruit a dedicated SEN Teacher for a school in the WF4 area of Wakefield. As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet individual learning needs while promoting confidence, independence, and engagement in learning. Key Duties: Deliver personalised teaching for pupils with SEN in line with curriculum guidance. Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs). Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment. Monitor pupil progress and provide supportive feedback. Work collaboratively with SENCOs, staff, and external professionals. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working as a SEN Teacher in a school or specialist setting. Strong behaviour management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
