About
A field-based business-to-business territory sales role, selling my client's leading range of commercial laundry equipment into an established network of distributors, as well as working with commercial end-users across the public and private sector.
Package: £38k-£43k basic with a £60k+ uncapped OTE (paid monthly and as a percentage of all sales). Electric or Hybrid Car, or car allowance, 25 days holiday, pension contributions matched to 8%, life assurance, and health insurance.
Territory: South West and South Wales
Products: Commercial laundry equipment
Customers: Distributors and end-users across sectors like hotel, leisure, education, hospital, care home, work-wear, and contract cleaning
The Role – Area Sales Manager
* A field-based territory sales role selling commercial laundry equipment
* Includes professional washing machines, tumble dryers, and ironing equipment
* Inheriting an established area, focusing 70% on account management and developing distributor relationships
* Strengthening relationships, enhancing product knowledge, and supporting increased sales
* Tracking and winning business with large commercial end-users in sectors like hospitals, care homes, prisons, education, hospitality, and hotels
* Equipment can be sold outright, via lease agreements, or maintenance contracts
The Successful Applicant – Area Sales Manager
* Experience in the commercial laundry sector or capital equipment sales background preferred
* Open to candidates with other B2B field sales backgrounds, especially with distribution/reseller experience
* Strong relationship-building skills, ability to develop key accounts, and confidence in new business acquisition
