Looking for a role where you can step away from a clinic setting and see the impact of your work day-to-day?
An opportunity has opened up for an Occupational Therapist to work across a group of specialist schools, supporting children and young people with additional needs including ASD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
This role is based within schools, working directly alongside pupils and staff. You’ll be helping students regulate, engage and access learning, while also supporting teachers to implement strategies that work in real classroom environments.
The position offers a varied working week, combining direct work with pupils, collaborative work with staff, and contributing to individual support plans.
You will be working across multiple sites, so being comfortable moving between settings and managing your own schedule is important.
The role would suit an Occupational Therapist with experience working with children or young people, particularly within SEN or similar environments. A good understanding of sensory needs, communication and behaviour is important, alongside the ability to build strong working relationships with school teams.
HCPC registration is required.
This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to move into a more practical, hands-on role within education, or continue developing their experience within SEN settings.
