Our client, a highly regarded Further Education provider, is seeking a proactive and motivated Deputy Management Accountant to join their Finance Department. About the role * As Deputy Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in delivering key finance operations across the Group. * You’ll support the monthly production of management accounts and forecasts, process journals, run budget holder reports, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to maintain financial accuracy. * You’ll also support cash flow preparation, payroll reconciliations, and help drive a strategic approach to financial planning that supports the organisation’s long-term success. About you * You will bring experience in a similar management accounts role and be part-qualified (CCAB or equivalent), or currently working towards a qualification. * Strong IT and budgeting skills are essential, alongside GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at grade C/4 or above. * You'll be a team player with integrity, discretion, and excellent organisational skills—ready to work across departments, including the Senior Leadership Team and budget holders. * Reporting directly to the Senior Management Accountant, you will also work closely with the Financial Controller, Finance Manager, and budget holders, becoming a trusted part of the wider financial leadership team.
