About the Role
As Duty Manager you will ensure that our leisure centre provides a friendly, clean, and safe environment for all customers. You will manage and motivate a team of operational staff, handle day‑to‑day duty management, and run the centre to the highest standard. You will also be responsible for event management, booking activities and events and ensuring they are delivered to a high standard.
Requirements
* Actively manage, develop and motivate a team of operational staff
* Take responsibility for day‑to‑day duty management and centre operation to the highest standard
* Understand the business and budgetary performance of the centre
* Be a proactive member of the leisure centre team
* Show a passion for the industry and commitment to continuous professional development
* Demonstrated experience in problem solving, customer service and staff management
* Experience working in a Duty Management or similar role
* Work flexibly with autonomy and confidence in decision making
* Able to think on your feet and respond to variable demands

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Sunday (rota basis)
Salary: up to £26,043 per annum
