We have a brand new opportunity where we are looking for a Service Engineer who is commutable to the Plymouth and Cornwall area. This Service Engineer position will require you to travel to our customer sites and carry out maintenance & repair of Power Equipment (Generators, Compressors). We have over 2500 generators on fleet ranging from 20 – 1400 kva. We have a number of these machines fitted with telematics and are fully syncable using Comap or Deep sea panels. We regularly monitor and manage our service hours on machines so you would be required to service and repair accordingly. Our (600) compressor range is from 260 – 1500 cfm and most recently adding Stage v engines to fleet, where you would be expected to maintain the same as our generator fleet. Overtime is paid time and a half and door to door and if the job takes 2 hours you'll be paid 4 hours You will have use of a van and fuel card You’ll receive a call out fee £20 weekday and £50 on a weekend What you’ll need: Full driving licence Experience of maintaining and repairing the same or similar types of equipment Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Strong communication skills both verbal and written Able to work alone under pressure and as part of a team Flexible approach to hours Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
