Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support to the Director of Business Operations in the day-to-day activities of Bright Ideas Marketing Ltd, with a particular focus on new product development, business growth, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support new product development initiatives
* Manage tendering processes to secure new business opportunities
* Maintain ISO 9001 accreditation and support potential ISO 14001 certification
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including EU Timber Regulations, product testing, and packaging standards
* Act as deputy for the DBO during absences, providing oversight across finance, e-commerce, stock management, and team coordination
* Provide general office support as needed
* Undertake additional tasks as required by the company
Knowledge & Skills
* Strong customer focus with an understanding of delivering on expectations for both existing and new business
* Commercial awareness with the ability to assess the impact of decisions on sales, costs, and profitability
* High standards of professionalism, organisation, and discipline
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
* Numerate, with the ability to interpret and analyse spreadsheets and data effectively

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
